Ali Brookes

Ali Brookes is a surface pattern designer from rural Northamptonshire, England. She describes herself as a curious person, with a passion for color and design, and a love for creating happy, colorful work that makes people smile.

After graduating with a First Class Honors Degree in Printed Textiles from Derby University, she began working as a lecturer teaching visual studies to interior design students and freelancing as a surface pattern designer creating hand painted work for the home décor and stationery markets. She also has experience in the manufacturing of glass and ceramic transfers for companies such as Royal Worcester and Denby.
