Fall brings us pumpkin pie, apple picking, corn mazes and cozy evenings by the fire. As the weather gets a little cooler, staying inside and sewing is so much easier. There are so many fall sewing projects to keep us busy. We have compiled a list of our favorite sewing projects for fall. As the leaves turn and the air becomes crisp, we start to reach for toasty drinks – mulled apple cider, hot cocoa, and tea to keep us warm and comfy. There are so many wonderful foods that come to harvest in the fall – pumpkins, squash, brussel sprouts, and of course apples. As we move closer to Thanksgiving, there are so many opportunities to enjoy recipes using these in-season foods. 5. DIY Fabric Apples

These adorable DIY Fabric Apples are from the Craft Ideas website. What a great source of craft inspiration! You can use your fabric stash to make these cuties! All you need is a little fabric, a little felt and fill, a button, and a small piece of ribbon. The tutorial includes an apple template, and this project is beginner friendly. 8. Fall Patchwork Pillow and Table Runner

These pincushions are so yummy looking! Couldn’t you just eat them up? The Pie Pincushion tutorial will give you step-by-step instructions and templates to create pumpkin pie, cherry pie, blueberry pie, black forest pie, and banana cream pie.
